ANIMAL WORLD

I know of one local political alliance who would love to have this collocation of amphibians and vault themselves into the seat of power whether it be the sixth, sixteenth or the twnty sixth of the calendar....LOL. Anyway, apart from helping out the poor and the unfortunate, nature and the animal world, especially tigers, hold a special place in my heart.

PORT LOUIS (Reuters) – Scientists have found more than 200 new species of frogs in Madagascar but a political crisis is hurting conservation of the Indian Ocean island's unique wildlife, a study shows.
The discovery, which almost doubles the number of known amphibians in Madagascar, illustrates an underestimation of the natural riches that have helped spawn a $390-million-a-year tourism industry. More
