Prologue : Countless elections and 18 coups later, our near neighbours, Thailand have come to realise that it is better to have appointed reps rather than leave their destiny at the hands of voters who are susceptible to corruption – Paraphrasing Bunn Negara in Star, 5th September 2008

Imagine an election for the legislature of the People’s Republic of Roosters and Hens. 200 chickens are on the electoral list with another 200 not bothering to register at all as they had enough of chicken shit to deal with. On polling day, 120 strut out to cast their ballots giving a turnout of 60%. Returns show the Bullshit Numbskulls party garnering 70 of the cast ballots with the rest being bagged by the People’s Rogue party. In other words, 130 of the registered voters either wisely spent their morning pecking for corn or flew the coop in dastardly style to the other camp. Yet with, approximately 35% of the popular vote, the Bullshits can crow in delight as they cluck as a sizeable majority into the legislature while the Rogues with about 25% of the popular vote have to scratch around for worms and flap their wings in hope that certain members of the Bullshit caucus will scamper over once the dust settles down. In addition, throw in the unregistereds into the mix, then u have potentially 330 nays to 70 ayes for the new regime, a mind boggling ratio of almost 5 to 1.

To put it simply, a minority of votes is worth a sackfull of corn in this circus called democracy.

Moral : In democracy, the majority may be nothing more than a mirage of your imagination!

Sure, it doesnt Mr Lee, you were spot on back then. Look at Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Pakistan and er.. Malaysia..... countries socially and economically devastated by that imported vermin, democracy, a secular liberal construct that has brought nothing but misery to many....well that's another story waiting to be written. Now, to my post for the day:

Imagine 2 seats, A and B. Both send a representative each to the parliament of the Republic of Bananas and Monkeys. A has 50,000 voters while B's electorate totals 25,000. All things being equal, two votes in A equals one vote in B. What democracy at its craziest best? Impossible!!! that would be the whoop of some crazed secular liberal lunatic ranting from a ramshackle soapbox set up in some god forsaken public field as the teeming rabble lap up a swill of charisma and the eternal oft repeated promise of a false dawn.(Pi mai, Pi Mai, Tang Tu jugak!)

No siree, this phenomenon is true in numerous legislative kennels that dot the many doghouses of the third world. Proof? study the total number of voters in these rural communities, just a crow's flight from one another:

Lenggong (P55) : 23223
Bagan Serai (P58) : 47111

Ha! Ha! Ha! so much for the one man one vote mantra that the democrat humbug is wont to spew as he froths at the hustings to coral that extra vote from the witless simpleton!!

Moral : In a democracy, each and every voter is equal..only that some voters are more equal than others.

Beginning today, I will run a series of mini-posts on that temple of perversion, Democracy, so touted by secularists and pseudo-islamists alike to be the panacea to all the problems plaguing mankind today. Of course, these articles will show that democracy is, in actuality, an illusory paradigm designed to disenfranchise the voice of the masses and legitimise the elites' perpetual appropriation of power.

"A resident of Permatang Pauh made RM 80,000.00 after accurately betting on the majority garnered by the winning candidate...." excerpted from a mainstream rag "The Star" on August 27. This coming a few days after the main cyber rag Malaysiakini reported that the local elctorate "were being offered odds on the outcome" prior to polling......

Ha!ha!Ha! that infernal mechanism is now a platform for gamblers to make a killing! What if they are voters as well..(no prizes for guessing!). Wonder how, the secularists and the pesudo-islamists, be they from the BN or PR variety, going to justify the conduct of elections, the foundation of a thriving democracy?. And this ripoff is not the first of of its kind either... for there have been other reports before!

Moral : Democracy is nothing more than an aggregate of selfish interests and a sprinkle of altruistic notions with winners sugarcoated as majorities and the losers salt-licked as minorities.
